My friend Kim and I went to Utah a while back for a Close to my Heart convention and I just sent her a Pen Pal Adventure Book to share our memory of the trip.
She is a consultant with the company so I thought she would appreciate that I used only Close to my Heart paper crafting supplies to craft the layout.
Getting creative through paper crafting has always been a stress relieving outlet for me so I really enjoyed taking my time with this project.
My favorite aspect of the layout is the double flip flaps that open up to a cut out photo of Kim and I sitting on top of the Close to my Heart wall in front of their building.

As for my visit to Utah, I can't wait to go back when I have more time to explore the outdoors! Flying over those salt lakes was breathtaking! (As was flying over the Rocky Mountains!!!)
I can only imagine what it would feel like to walk on that lake of salt. Ironically, I was raised in Syracuse, New York - dubbed the 'Salt City'... maybe that's why it excited me so much to fly above such a lake.
